pieces of art, and handcrafted goods. Consumers
want to buy from local vendors who take pride
in the quality of their products. The answer for
both lies in the resurgence of the old-fashioned
farmers’ market.
Okotoks residents are especially lucky to have
four farmers’ markets and two garden market
farms within easy driving distance. With the
exception of B.C. fruit, most of the foods and
goods for sale at the markets are products of
